Kepler Motors’ Motion supercar claim to do 60 MPH in 2.5 seconds

Since 2009, Kepler Motors worked on an underground project hybrid super car.

They announce it with the video below

This is a typical super-car with mid engine mount that also has electric motors to move it around (the track mostly). They claim 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, but I will only believe it when I see it. Also claimed that top speeds will be above 200 Miles Per Hour. Only 50 will ever been made, that statement make me feel like its a project car rather then an actual production SuperCar.

The combination of electric (probably brushless) motor and gas motor, gives the car the opportunity of having high torque on low RPM, as well as combined high torque on high RPM. That means less turbo lag and more direct and fast throttle response.

Don’t get too exited about this car. It tries to be a green car, but it’s not. It will have a pretty good miles per gallon for a supercar, but your Honda civic will still beat it.

So it’s green, but its not. And it’s cool and will show others you care about the environment, but you don’t really care. So what is the reason to buy it? maybe show off your friends how complex and cool you car is? just buy a Tesla Roadster and do it the right way….
