General Motors also announced pricing for the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE will start at $37,035 including a mandatory destination charge. The rag-top version of the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible will start at $60,445 (€49,100), including the $900 destination charge.
“The Camaro 1LE combines the best elements of the SS and ZL1 to take road-racing performance to a whole new level,” said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer.
The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is motivated by a supercharged V8 6.2-liter engine that delivers 580-horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 556 lb.-ft. The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE owes its prowess to a 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 with 426 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.
The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible has been published during an event in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Sunday and is the direct competitor of the Ford Shelby GT500 with price starts at $59,995.
