Audi Q3 Red Track and e-bike concepts has officially introduced at lake Wörthersee in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia. A version that focuses on an active lifestyle – is meant to appeal to winter sports enthusiasts.
Unlike the other e-bikes, the Audi sporting 26-inch wheels made from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) that only weigh 600 grams (1.32 lb) each. A lithium-ion battery that weighs 5 kg (11.02 lbs) that produces 3 PS (2.3 kW / 3 hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The entire bicycle weighs 21 kg (46.3 lbs).
“The Audi Q3 red track themed vehicle represents a new, potential variation on the SUV concept,” Audi said in a statement. “It has been designed for young, sporty people. The Audi Q3 red track is a sporty and robust compact SUV offering many practical attributes, an elegant appearance and individual design highlights.”
Other highlights include upholstery made from a weave of leather; a stainless steel mesh is used to accent the crash pad; the same compact LEDs embedded in the roof rack; matte grey accents and trim pieces.
Under the hood, Audi Q3 Red Track power comes from a 2.5 liter TFSI engine making 340-hp and 331 lb-ft of torque that allows it to go from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 163 mph.
