The new 2013 Acura ILX compact luxury sedan will arrive in showrooms with priced starting at $25,900 in the United States.
“The 2013 Acura ILX will serve as the gateway to the Acura brand,” said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. “At the leading edge of a new, sporty compact segment, the ILX delivers style, value, performance and connectivity to younger buyers looking to move into the luxury market.”
On the exterior, the 2013 Acura ILX that rides on a version of the 2012 Honda Civic.
Standard kit on the base Acura ILX includes a Pandora internet radio interface, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a push-button ignition, alloy wheels, foglights and a rearview camera.
Power is provided by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 150 hp (112 kW / 152 PS) mated to a five-speed Sequential SportShift automatic. The combination delivers an EPA-estimated 24 mpg city / 35 mpg highway.
