The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro with the addition of a new 1LE performance package and SS coupe models equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.
“That the 1LE breaks the three-minute lap at VIR puts it in the upper echelon of performance cars. That it starts under $40,000 makes the Camaro 1LE one of the most affordable, most capable track-day cars offered by any manufacturer,” said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer.
On the exterior, the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE is distinguished by a matte-black hood, front splitter and rear spoiler. In addition, 20-inch alloy wheels 10-spoke with 285/35ZR20 Goodyear Eagle Supercar G:2 tires.
Interior changes are limited and most are borrows even more content from the ZL1. Include some functional aero accessories, a shift knob, the package adds the ZL1’s flat-bottom steering wheel and MyLink entertainment system.
The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE is powered by the outstanding 6.2 liter LS3 V8 engine making 426 horsepower (318 kW) and 420 lb-ft of torque (569 Nm). Two new features include variable-effort electric power steering and an available dual-mode exhaust system.
