At the Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine, California the 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline was introduced before it reaches U.S. dealerships in April.
The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline is based on the Challenger SXT Plus and a host of standard performance upgrades. The model is available in four colors will come with a “Redline Red” triple stripe pattern, include Tungsten Metallic, Pitch Black, Bright Silver Metallic and Bright White.
“Infused with Dodge DNA, the new Challenger Rallye Redline adds even more excitement to our iconic muscle car, and to show our appreciation to our most hard-core enthusiasts, we revealed this new model at Spring Fest,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO, Dodge Brand – Chrysler Group LLC.
On the exterior, the features new Redline Red exterior striping paired, new 20-inch Pitch Black alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. Furthermore, high-performance brakes, a sport-tuned suspension and a revised rear axle ratio.
On the interior, there’s a feature heated leather front seats, a thick-rimmed steering wheel, a leather steering wheel. There’s also Sirius satellite radio, automatic climate control, infotainment and automatic headlamps as standard and a amplified Boston Acoustic stereo with six speakers.
Under the hood, power comes from a 3.6-liter V6 engine with its 305 horsepower (227 kW / 309 PS) at 6,350 rpm and peak torque of 268 lb-ft (363Nm) of torque at 4,800 rpm.
The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline starts at $28,745, not including a $925 destination fee.
