The Vitesse features the same tweaked W16 engine with the four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers found in the Super Sports model, and with 1,200HP (883kW / 1,184hp) and 1,500Nm (1,106lb-ft) of torque.
“The rapid success of the Super Sport convinced us to increase the performance of the Bugatti roadster. Once again our engineers worked hard to demonstrate that Bugatti is able to constantly redefine the boundaries of what is technically feasible,” says Bugatti President Wolfgang Dürheimer in a press statement. “We gave our all to transfer the achievements of the Super Sport over to the Grand Sport, thereby turning open-top driving itself into an extraordinary experience at high speed.”
Inherits its design from the Veyron Grand Sport, with the chassis has also been modified to support the power increase. While the roof will be removable, there will be no storage space for it within the car, so the cover will have to be taken off at home.
