We’ve published leaked photos of 2012 MINI John Cooper have been circulating since early 2011, before of its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works was officially unveiled yesterday.
The 2013 John Cooper Works Countryman will variant to come with MINI’s ALL4 all-wheel-drive system as standard with power coming from firm’s 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and offer an available six-speed automatic gearbox.
Under the hood, with power 218 PS (160 kW / 215 hp) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of peak torque or 300Nm (221 lb-ft) with the overboost function. Which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62mph) sprint in 7.0 seconds and tops out at 225km/h (140mph).
The 2013 MINI John Cooper Works Countryman will come with a sport suspension with an aerodynamic body kit, an aerodynamic body kit featuring revised front. There’s also a sports exhaust system and the obligatory JCW badging, a more aggressive exhaust system.
Inside,with sport seats, piano black, a standard Sport Button that tweaks the engine response, an anthracite headliner and red contrast stitching throughout, dark speedometer and tachometer face.
In terms of efficiency, the 2013 John Cooper returns an average fuel consumption of 7.2 L/100 km (39.2 mpg UK) with the manual gearbox and 8.0lt/100 km 8.0 L/100km (35.3 mpg UK and 187 g/km) with the automatic transmission.
Pricing information of the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works Countryman hasn’t been released, but it will start arriving at European dealerships this fall.
