A Special Edition 2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata that will be unveiled at the upcoming 2012 Chicago Auto Show. The latest is an appearance package for the PRHT (power retractable hard top) model, and it looks pretty smart if you ask us.
The special model can be ordered in a choice of two new exterior colors include Crystal White Pearl Mica or Velocity Red Mica. The Special Edition built off on the Grand Touring as a starting point, but the SE comes with both the Premium and Suspension Packages as standard. Which include Bilstein shocks, upgraded springs, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, Sirus Radio, a six-speed short-throw manual or six-speed automatic with paddle shifters, and the 17-inch alloy wheels and exterior accents such as the mirrors.
The full details on the car will be revealed on its debut in Chicago next week, Mazda said production of the MX-5 Miata Special Edition would be limited to 450 units with pricing to be announced.
