Yesterday, we hear about a couple of brochure scans of the brand new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has leaked on the website GermanCarForum.com. This time in some unreleased official images, but once again members of the GermanCarForum has uncovering these official yet unreleased photos of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will only be revealed at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January, so we don’t have official specs to go with our photos but the overall design is quite nice. As you can see from the photos below, the model’s design is quite appealing and as we said yesterday, the front fascia is very similar to the new SLK generation which has debuted in March, at the Geneva Motor Show.
According to our predictions, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will feature an aluminum unibody structure that enables the car to weigh up to 310 pounds (140 kilograms) less than the current model. Regarding the engine, the photos in the gallery below show both the 3.5-liter SL 350. However, we expect the SL to launch with Merc’s new 3.5-liter V6 and 4.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engines, with more powerplants to be introduced down the line.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will be officially presented on January 9, 2012, at the Detroit Motor Show, and the German based automaker will definitely announce all of its specifications at the North American event.
