Honda has finally announced the pricing details on the 2012 Honda CR-V crossover in the United States. Prices for the 2012 Honda CR-V range from $22,295 for the entry-level LX 2WD model to $29,795 for the range-topping EX-L AWD with a navigation package(pricing does not include destination and handling charge of $810 per vehicle).
“For 2012, we’ve made critical upgrades to virtually every aspect of CR-V’s winning formula,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales, American Honda Motor Co. Inc., “The CR-V represents an excellent value for customers with pricing remaining relatively unchanged compared to the outgoing model despite the addition of numerous new features, improved fuel economy and enhanced utility.”
The 2012 Honda CR-V models are powered by a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine delivering 185HP (138 kW / 188 PS) and 163 lb-ft (221 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front-wheels. All-wheel drive is optional and it costs an additional $1,250. EPA rated fuel-economy comes in at 23/31/26 mpg (city/highway/combined) for the 2WD model and 22/30/25 mpg for the AWD model.
On the interior, 2012 Honda CR-V for in the States equipped with air conditioning, power windows / locks, Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera. At the other end of the spectrum, the range-topping EX-L starts at $27,045 and includes heated front seats, leather upholstery and a premium audio system.
