VÄTH has introduced a new tuning program for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG. The Germans installed an improved performance, and exterior and interior trim on the
Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG V8 Biturbo.
A V63RS tuning kit features individually fine-tuned engine electronics, which increases the the capacity to 5.461cm³ and the maximum output is 660hp and 960Nm. The acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is done in 3.9 seconds and from 0 to 200km/h in 12.0 seconds. Top speed is 325km/h. The engine package alone costs €12,800 or US$17,700 in Europe.
On the styling front, the model can be equipped with a trunk-mounted spoiler, a rear diffuser and 20-inch wheels with high-performance tires and size 265/30ZR20 at the front and 305/25ZR20 at the rear axle. Other goodies include lowering springs and an upgraded braking system. Lastly, the cabin can be outfitted with a sport steering wheel, carbon fiber trim and a revised speedometer that goes up to 360 km/h (224 mph).
Available aero parts include a front lip spoiler, a different rear diffuser and a boot lid spoiler, while the company can also modify the CLS 63 AMG’s interior with custom leather and trims. And last but not least, for € 3,300 you can choose improved interior design in classy black carbon.
